Washington Episcopal School in Bethesda, Maryland, is seeking a full-time Middle School math teacher, beginning August 2017. The candidate will be responsible for teaching four math classes of Middle School math (through Geometry) and working collaboratively with other faculty members on curriculum development, cross-curricular units, and integration of technology. This position also includes being a Middle School homeroom teacher and an advisor.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in mathematics or mathematics education, with a graduate degree preferred, and will have demonstrated successful experience with middle school students. Responsive Classroom/Developmental Design experience is desirable.
