Connelly School of the Holy Child is seeking an Athletic Trainer for the 2017-2018 school year. The Athletic Trainer reports to the Director of Athletics. Responsibilities include the following:
Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing “athletic training services” including practice/game coverage, and the prevention, emergency care, first aid, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries to all athletes/students grade 6-12; referring to a physician when needed. They must implement and adhere to the Holy Child Concussion Management Plan along with have consistent communication with the School Nurse. The athletic trainer is responsible for maintaining their athletic training facility and needed supplies. In addition, this position includes teaching physical education classes as well as assisting the athletic director in various day-to-day tasks such as field set-up, confirming game schedules, and other duties as assigned.
Typical work hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, will vary with sport seasons. Hours are flexible and will be determined by candidate and Athletic Director
