The Alumni and Special Event Coordinator organizes and promotes creative engagement events and fosters alumni connections with the school. The Coordinator is a critical member of the Development team and shares responsibility for building relationships with external constituents and growing financial support. The Coordinator reports to the Director of Alumni & Development and works closely with members of the Alumni & Development Office, other school colleagues, and volunteers.
Primary responsibilities are to:
Plan, organize, and implement a robust calendar of events, activities, and programs on and off campus;
Support strategies to expand alumni giving to the school;
Recruit and manage volunteers;
Plan and implement strategies to engage young alumni in the life of the school;
Contribute to the Renbrook magazine by writing alumni profiles and class notes and selecting photography to accompany these sections;
Serve as the staff liaison to the Alumni Executive Committee;
Provide updates for the alumni section of the Renbrook website;
Oversee and manage Renbrook’s social media contact for alumni;
Help organize and maintain the school archives;
Provide some administrative support to the Director; and
Help maintain constituent data.

2-4 years of experience in Alumni Relations or a related field preferred;
Experience handling a diverse portfolio of responsibility;
Event management experience;
Facility with Microsoft Office suite required and experience with fundraising software preferred;
Non-profit or private school/college alumni or development experience preferred;
Fluency in social media platforms and experience in analytics is highly desirable;
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends; and
Candidates must be able to climb stairs and perform physical functions typical of an office workplace.
