Monadnock Waldorf School in Keene, New Hampshire seeks a School Administrator who will lead the administrative functions of our forty-year-old school beginning this summer 2017. We seek a dynamic, collaborative leader with demonstrated ability to implement, and manage administrative forms that support the achievement of our mission. This position works closely with our College of Teachers and with our Board of Trustees.
The School Administrator provides direct oversight to all administrative staff including Marketing/Communication, Operations and Financial Management, Outreach and Enrollment, and Development. This position is responsible for insuring safe and healthy school environment, guiding the achievement of long-range strategic objectives, formulating and implementing policies that support the educational mission of the school, and working closely with the College of Teachers in all pedagogical hiring matters.
The School Administrator is the spokesperson for Monadnock Waldorf School and develops collaborative and positive working relationships both within the school community, the wider regional community, and the Waldorf community. The School Administrator guides parent questions and concerns to the appropriate school body and ensures their resolution. S/he works closely with a wide variety of leadership groups and school committees.
The successful candidate will have proven administrative leadership experience. Experience in an independent school setting is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will have a well-articulated interest in working in a Waldorf school environment, and have demonstrated an outstanding ability in both organizational leadership and collaboration.
Additional Salary Information: Salary is commensurate with experience.
