The Orme School announces its search for a full time Art Teacher, capable or experienced in teaching a variety of mediums - 2D and 3D are courses traditionally offered. The candidate must be able to challenge and engage students in our dynamic and diverse learning community. He/she should also be collaborative in working with colleagues, particularly in the supervision of the school’s Fine Arts Festival. Our one week Fine Arts Festival, 50th year in February 2018, is one of our signature programs bringing artists from around the country to share their talents and instruct our students. Art classrooms are expected to be student-centered and foster the mastery of essentials skills, as well as a greater appreciation of art, artists, and inherent creative sensibilities. The Orme School was established in 1929 and is located in central Arizona. Its college preparatory boarding program serves students in grades 8 through Post Graduate.
