St. James’ School is seeking an organized and effective professional to serve as our full-time Donor Relations and Advancement Event Coordinator. This position is a 40 hour/week, non-exempt position that reports to the Director of Advancement and Assistant Director of Advancement, working closely with other advancement staff, the school’s business office, school faculty, staff and Senior Administration, as well as parent volunteer groups.
The Donor Relations and Advancement Event Coordinator provides administrative support for all gift processing, as well as coordinating the school’s annual advancement and fundraising efforts. The position assists with the planning and execution of the school’s Every Child Campaign (annual fund campaign), spring event fundraiser, other advancement events and provides support with donor relations and volunteer management with the school’s many constituencies including current families, alumni, alumni parents, grandparents, faculty and staff.
As we build towards our 50th Anniversary during the 2018-2019 school year, St. James' School embarked on an ambitious capital campaign, providing financial support for renovating its school facilities (construction beginning summer 2017), support for professional and curricular development and building its endowment. The Donor Relations and Advancement Event Coordinator will play an important role on the advancement team as they continue to support our annual advancement efforts.
This position is Monday-Friday and is scheduled to begin June 2017. Compensation is competitive with a full benefits package.
• Oversees and manages the school’s Raiser’s Edge database.
• Responsible for the administration of the Raiser’s Edge database with regard to all prospect and donor data, demographic and contact information.
• Responsible for executing all gift processing from recording each gift in the database to sending acknowledgment letters, receipts and tax letters, to overseeing and facilitating pledge collection efforts.
• Proactively maintain donor files and records.
