St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School (www.sasweb.org) seeks an energetic Music Teacher/Musical Director with the skills and desire to maintain a strong choral program while building an instrumental program.
Responsibilities will include:
Teaching and Musical Direction of:
- Middle School Music
- Upper School Choir
- Upper School Instrumental Ensemble
- Annual school musical involving grades 6 – 12
As well as:
- Providing sacred music for the Chapel program
- Providing music for special school events
- Overseeing and supervising private music lesson program
- Participating in departmental planning
- Serving as an advisor
- Assisting with evening and weekend campus activities and supervision
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
