Candidates need to be minimum 18 years old, and completed a minimum of one year of Higher Education. Summer camp, ESL, and/or Outdoor Education experience will strengthen an applicant’s chances.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes room and board for the duration of the program.
The SPA will report to the Director of Experiential Education and Summer Programs and will work in support of the Summer Session ESL Immersion program. Some specific duties include:
The SPA will live in a dormitory and deal directly with students living on campus. This includes the direct supervision of students and the enforcement of the rules and regulations for students while living on campus.
Afternoon and evening activities are a fundamental part of our Summer Program. The SPA is responsible for planning, organizing activities during the afternoon, evening and on weekends with the assistance of the Director of Summer Programs. The SPA should be organized and comfortable planning and arranging activities for many students on any given day. Ensure that all activities and excursions are planned and executed in an efficient and safe manner.
