Dwight School is seeking a full-time Library/Technology Teacher beginning in September 2017.
The daily responsibilities of the Library/Technology Teacher are to:
Teach technology and/or research classes in grades 6-12
Support the daily operation of the library, including supervising students, circulating library resources, and providing reader’s advisory and research assistance
Assist faculty and students with the meaningful use of the school’s library, media, and technology resources
Develop and deliver internal library, media, and technology training
Model innovative technology use for other Dwight community members
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
Experience working with middle and high school students
Teaching experience in one or more of the following disciplines: library, media, technology
Experience working in a school with a 1:1 program
Ability to contribute positively to the community with patience and humor
