The Director of Annual Giving and Events is responsible for the overall planning, management, coordination and evaluation of Rosarian Academy’s fundraising events (including annual Auction & Ball) , as well as the school’s Annual Fund. In addition, position is the primary point person for RAFA (Rosarian Academy Family Association) and provides direct support to this volunteer group.
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, business administration or a related field, or associates degree with five years of experience in community relations or related field. Candidate must possess experience with at least three years of special event management or fundraising, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers. He/she should be a self-starter, take charge professional with ability to manage time effectively in a busy special events environment. He/she must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision, and be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends.
