Connelly School of the Holy Child is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for young women grades 6 through 12. Holy Child is much more than a school, it is a community of young women ready to explore a world of possibilities. The campus minister is a member of the school leadership team and coordinates the school campus ministry functions in a manner that respects the school’s mission. The school campus minister is accountable to the school’s administrative team, and, primarily Dean of Students.
Responsibilities shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:
Plans, organizes, and conducts student retreats for all grades 9-12
Provides counsel to students individually on spiritual, moral, and personal growth issues
Coordinates all school Masses and any sacramental and liturgical needs of the school
Coordinates service opportunities for the school throughout the year
Encourages faith formation and student participation in faith and service opportunities in accordance with the school’s mission
Responsible for living the Holy Child charism and developing the spiritual life of the school in accordance with the school’s mission
Plans, organizes, and conducts weekly prayer block for Upper School Faculty, Staff, and Students
Teach a 12th grade religion course
