Alumni Relations Coordinator
The Alumni Relations Coordinator is a part time, non-exempt position that will manage the Fort Worth Country Day Alumni Association and its governing body, the Alumni Council; recruit volunteer alumni leadership; manage regional and local alumni events, including Homecoming/Reunion Weekend; create e-newsletters; and maintain the alumni social networking groups.
Competencies: Must have excellent multitasking, attention to detail, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Written and verbal communication skills, social media expertise as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (particularly Word, Excel, and Publisher) are essential.
- Organize alumni events which include, but are not limited to: Homecoming and class reunion activities, Alumni Awards Dinner, student events to welcome them to the Alumni Association, out-of-town alumni events, Alumni Council meetings and alumni campus visits
- Provide communications for Alumni Association which include, but are not limited to: writing quarterly e-newsletter, posting weekly on Facebook, Instagram, Linked In and Twitter, assisting with alumni and class notes section of the Falconer magazine, working with Technology Department on alumni web site, maintaining the Alumni database updates (Senior Systems and Whipple Hill), acknowledging achievements and milestones of FWCD alumni and editing other Advancement publications
- Create new and expanded opportunities for alumni involvement with FWCD that will foster positive alumni relations and garner future supporters to FWCD
- Other assignments as indicated by the Director of Advancement
