The Stewardship and Communications Manager works closely with the Alumni and Development office, School staff, and Board of Trustees to develop and maintain consistent communications with donors, volunteers and committee members who give of their time, expertise and financial support to the School. The Stewardship and Communications Manager will develop and manage a comprehensive annual stewardship plan to maintain strong relationships with donors making annual and campaign contributions and gifts of time. The Stewardship and Communications Manager will also manage an annual communications calendar for the Alumni and Development office in its future campaign and ongoing Annual Fund efforts in accordance with Thacher mission and values. Additionally, the Stewardship and Communications Manager will develop content for the School’s development, fundraising and constituent relations media channels.
Skills & Qualifications:
A. 5+ years experience with Communications, Stewardship Organization and/or fundraising
B. Experience with Blackbaud‘s Raiser’s Edge, Netcommunity or an equivalent CRM, experience with Mac products preferred.
D. Familiarity with endowment management and financial reporting
E. Demonstrated experience leveraging information to make sound, data-driven decisions.
F. Ability to lift 20 lbs.
G. Project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and the ability to balance multiple tasks and projects while delivering quality work on schedule.
H. Alignment with and ability to articulate the mission of the Thacher School.
