University Prep is seeking a talented, dynamic and compassionate Director of Advancement to help us advance our vision of being an inclusive community of learners that provides an outstanding education for each individual in a diverse student population. The Director of Advancement (DOA) is responsible for advancing University Prep’s mission by creating a culture of philanthropy that informs, engages, and excites the community to participate in meaningful ways. This position works closely with the Head of School, Board of Trustees, and the Advancement Committee, and will be working with campaign committee(s) for an upcoming capital campaign. As a member of the Administrative Team of the school, the DOA will work with the Director of Admissions, the Director of Communications, and Chief Financial Officer, in addition to managing four staff members.
The DOA will oversee all aspects of UPrep’s advancement program and must be able to think strategically and decisively while collaborating and motivating key partners.
