Garrison Forest School is seeking a Director of the Fund for Garrison Forest beginning July 7, 2017. This is a 12-month position and occasional evening and weekend work is necessary. The Director reports directly to the Assistant Head of School for Advancement. A college degree is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Director is charged with securing $1.3 million in critical annual funding to support the school’s operating budget. The Director’s primary responsibility is the strategic execution and management of a comprehensive annual giving program, including the coordination and oversight of gift processing and donor acknowledgment. This individual develops a coordinated matrix of communication and solicitation strategies involving direct mail, phone, email/Web, social media, personal visitation and volunteer engagement. In addition to achieving the stated financial goal the Director is charged with developing and executing strategies to increase participation by parents and alumnae. In addition, the Director oversees 50 volunteers and the workflow of the Development Assistant in charge of database management. Attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude is a must.
