The Blake School seeks a talented and energetic person to coordinate various Lower School programs and activities on two campuses.
The Blake Lower School is housed on two campuses thirteen miles apart in the western suburbs of Minneapolis—the Blake Campus in Hopkins and the Highcroft Campus in Wayzata. The Lower School consists of seven grade levels, pre-kindergarten through five, 535 students and 85 employees.
The search committee will begin reviewing applications on June 2. Blake will typically cover the travel and lodging costs for finalist candidates visiting from out of town.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, has an ability to manage multiple projects with efficiency and flexibility, and has been a successful supervisor. An active intellect, curiosity, a sense of humor, openness to new ideas, and a willingness to take risks are highly valued by the School. Blake is particularly interested in candidates who will enrich the diversity of identity, lived experience and thinking that makes a community strong and empowers students to engage across differences.
