Berwick Academy, a PK-12 co educational independent day school of 600 students, seeks an Advancement Associate. The successful candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills and be a team player who is innovative, creative, and enjoys being challenged. This position relies on significant teamwork within the Advancement Office and requires a person with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Manage young alumni programming and giving
Manage all workflow around reunion classes, reunion giving, all alumni events, and Grandparents Day
Develop and implement comprehensive plan to connect alumni and parents to a professional network
Collaborate with the Communications team to develop the social media and communications plan for alumni engagement
Provide support for all Advancement events
Provide comprehensive support to The Berwick Fund; managing mailing lists and reports in the School’s database Raiser’s Edge
Serve as an enthusiastic, active member of the school community
Other duties and special projects as assigned
1-3 years of development/fundraising experience in an educational or non-profit organization
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
A proven track record of high quality work, attention to detail, and a high productivity level
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google, and social media applications
Ability to be innovative and think creatively
Excellent interpersonal, and verbal and written communications skills, with a strong command of the English language and grammar
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
Desire to work as part of a high functioning team
Experience with Blackbaud platform preferred
