Greens Farms Academy seeks an Upper School Video & Studio Art Teaching Fellow to begin in August 2017. Teaching Fellows teach a reduced courseload – in this case, two or three sections of Upper School video and studio art– and contribute to other aspects of independent school life: leading clubs and activities, chaperoning trips, and/or coaching. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video and studio art, some experience in and a passion for working with young people, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive community. Experience with 3D prototyping, graphic design, animation, and emerging technologies is a plus. The new teacher will join a collegial Upper School faculty and a Visual Arts Department committed to fostering creativity, design thinking, and an interdisciplinary approach. Teaching Fellowships are generally two-year positions and offer relatively new teachers opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.
