St. Paul’s School invites applications for the position of Upper School English Fellow for the 2017 - 2018 school year.
St. Paul’s, founded in 1849, is a college-preparatory day school in Brooklandville, Maryland, with an all-boys’ Upper School. Our mission is to “seek truth, knowledge, and excellence; live by faith, compassion, and integrity.”
In keeping with our focus on high expectations and strong mentors for students, the St. Paul’s program provides new teachers the tools to achieve great things. Fellows will teach two or three sections of English and coach multiple sports. The ideal candidate will be prepared to engage students in a writing-intensive curriculum that encompasses a range of texts from the Western canon and contemporary international literature. Candidates must have a degree in English or a related field.
