Position Available: Canterbury School seeks an experienced Math teacher for employment beginning in the 2017-2018 school year. Candidates must enjoy working with adolescents and must possess an exceptional work ethic and a sense of humor. Strong preference will be given to candidates with an advanced, subject-area degree and a minimum of five years of comparable teaching experience. Candidates must be able to teach Algebra 1 through Precalculus. The position includes dormitory duty, extra-curricular activities, and coaching.
School Setting: Canterbury is a co-ed, boarding school located in northwestern Connecticut, approximately one hour northeast of New York City. The school is comprised of approximately 325 students of which two-thirds are boarding, possesses fine facilities and faculty housing, and is committed to the continuing education of the faculty.
