Isidore Newman School is seeking an experienced Head Varsity Girls Soccer coach. This is a part-time position, with the actual season starting at the end of October and running through the end of February.

USSF 'D' License or higher
Bachelor's Degree preferred for this position
The successful applicant will possess: excellent speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills; demonstrate strong organizational, management and leadership skills; be technologically savvy and computer literate; have an abiding interest in helping students to experience academic and social growth; be successful in working with teams; and genuinely love to work with children and educators at the middle school and upper school levels.
The Head Varsity Girls Soccer coach will serve as the program director for the entire girls' soccer program, providing oversight and consistency to the junior varsity and middle school programs.
This coach will have significant input in the recruitment, mentoring and retaining of the entire coaching staff in grades six through twelve and oversee all scheduling in the upper school program.
This position requires the ability to develop and implement practice plans and tactical game plans.
This person will also need to set high expectations for a well-established program while maintaining strong, healthy relationships with players, parents, teachers, and administrators.
Qualified applicants will have previous coaching experience and competitive playing experience at both the high school and collegiate levels. This person should be a creative motivator, have good communication skills, and a positive coaching style.
