The Kew-Forest School seeks a dynamic, hardworking, full-time Middle and Upper SchoolEnglish and Drama Teacher to begin working at the end of August 2017.
The ideal candidate understands and enjoys young people (ages 11-18) and encourages them to engage with the content. S/he should love literature, writing, and theater.
Other ideal attributes include a sense of humor, great energy, and a desire to inspire students.
Finally, the teacher should model and promote character, respect, and honesty.
The likely courses will be two sections of Middleor Upper School English and two sections of Middle and Upper School Drama. The Drama course shouldcover basic theater skills such as voice control, diction, movement, scene study, etc.
