BB&N is seeking a Boys’ Lacrosse Program Coordinator and Associate Head Varsity Coach to oversee all aspects of the boys’ lacrosse program including but not limited to; practice planning, mentoring and advising the middle school program and upper school sub-varsity teams, student-athlete identification for admissions, coaches’ professional development, player skill development, administrative task related to running the program, and hiring of appropriate lacrosse staff members. This person will have full decision-making and control for implementing offensive and defensive strategies for the team.
This position will report to the Director of Athletics and work closely with the varsity head coach. A commitment to the academic success of the student and support of those student-athletes with an ability and/or desire to compete at the collegiate level is a must. Attendance of all practices, home and away matches is non-negotiable.
The BB&N Athletic Department expects its coaches to operate within the athletic philosophy of BB&N and adhere to the BB&N coaches’ manual. All coaches lead their programs to abide by the rules and guidelines of the Independent School League (ISL) and the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC). A current certification in CPR is required.
