The Providence Country Day School, in East Providence, RI, has an opening, effective July 1, 2018, for a full-time Director of Development, to lead and implement the school's overall fund-raising efforts and have a voice in overall communications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: communication, cultivation, and management of a $650K annual fund; personal outreach; management of Trustee development committee; major gift fund-raising; and oversight of gift acknowledgement. The position reports directly to the Head of School, collaborates with other lead administrators and the campaign director, and interacts frequently with the Board of Trustees.
5-7 years philanthropic management experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a sense of humor are required. Independent school experience preferred.
