SPA seeks candidates for the position of Upper School Studio Art Teacher beginning in August 2018. This is a full-time, ongoing position within the Upper School Art Department. The role includes teaching both beginning and advanced students in drawing and painting; the ideal candidate will also have experience and interest in teaching sculpture/3-D design, printmaking, and other areas of the visual arts. In addition, this teacher will collaborate with the rest of the art department in helping to curate and manage the on-campus Drake Gallery and the SPA art collection. Candidates should possess at least a bachelor's degree in fine arts or a related field (master's preferred) and should have experience working with high school students.
