We are seeking a student centered, energetic and experienced English teacher to join our strong Department for the 2018-2019 school year and beyond. English instruction at Cape Henry Collegiate offers an ideal teaching and learning environment with small classes and students who are used to and eager to participate in class discussions and activities. Excellent reading and writing instruction is critical and is approached in a literature based curriculum where colleagues collaborate and work together on vertical alignment and student growth.
Cape Henry faculty members have opportunities to be involved outside the classroom as coaches, club leaders, advisors and as leaders in our global studies program. Traveling internationally with students as part of our Nexus program is an integral part of being a teacher at Cape Henry.
