Draws from social constructivist theories of teaching and learning
Embraces the social and emotional curriculum
Skilled with alternative assessments
Demonstrates strong written and verbal skills
Knows and applies knowledge of current professional literature
Proficient with using technology and Web 2.0 tools in the classroom for instruction as well as for student use
