Belmont Hill School seeks a middle school science teacher to begin in August 2018. Specific course needs include 7th grade Science Survey, a scientific skill development course focusing on the fields of Chemistry and Earth Science, and 8th grade Introduction to Physical Science, a lab intensive course that explores topics in Physical Science. Teaching additional courses may be possible depending upon qualifications and departmental need. As a full-time faculty member, the candidate will teach four sections and advise students in the middle school. Coaching skills and/or an interest and ability to oversee extracurricular activities are important. Strong applicants will have an interest in curriculum development, an advanced degree, at least three years of classroom experience, and an appreciation for all-boys’ education.
