The Gow School is searching for a full-time English teacher to start for the 2018-2019 school year. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced upper school English teacher who is knowledgeable about teaching written expression to students with learning disabilities and related reading disorders such as dyslexia. This full-time position includes some non-academic responsibilities as well as living on campus in an apartment adjacent to a dormitory. We are a boarding school where we teach, coach, and live with our students as role models and mentors in class and within the nonacademic environment on campus. This fulfilling position offers an extremely low student teacher ratio in a professional environment. The Gow School has a distinct culture of success including a competitive compensation program for faculty and staff. This professional lifestyle is highly rewarding and requires extraordinarily dedicated professionals. Interested candidates who are fully prepared to embrace this teaching and lifestyle should send a cover letter and resume to Julie Wysocki (email@example.com) for consideration. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
