Christ School seeks a highly motivated, relationship driven Assistant Director of Admission to assist with all aspects of the admission process. Reporting to the Director of Admission, the Assistant Director will join a team of three admission professionals and an office manager. The 12-month position begins July 1, 2018.
Duties: The Assistant Director of Admission will work directly with interested families from point of inquiry through enrollment. This includes communication with interested families, campus visits, regular follow up, and applicant evaluation. Domestic travel to meet with schools, educational consultants, parents, applicants, alums, etc. is required. The Assistant Director will also be active in the daily life of campus, including, but not limited to, serving on a residential life team, serving as an advisor, and coaching.
Experience: Bachelor’s degree required and at least 2 years of experience preferred.
Christ School entered the 2017-2018 school year with an enrollment of 292 (196 boarding students, 90 day students, and 6 faculty students). Our students come from 19 states and 7 foreign countries. Our international population is 8%. Recent campus additions and improvements include: a new athletic complex, a renovated dining hall, new dorm, new wellness center, and a new art studio art building. As we have now hit the cap for enrollment goals, our office is charged with attracting mission appropriate students from the southeast and beyond.
