The faculty member will be employed full time, working such hours and carrying out such duties as are normally associated with an educational position (including classroom and non-classroom duties). All faculty members must hold a Bachelor’s degree and have 3-5 years of teaching experience. A Master’s degree in the content area is preferred. Department Chair positions require a Master’s degree, 5-7 years of teaching experience, and demonstrated management and leadership skills in a similar or related role.
Applicants should have demonstrated success in working effectively with students, parents, and colleagues and have a commitment to best practices in teaching and learning. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as creativity, are desired to join a highly relational and dedicated faculty. Experience in an all-girls’ school environment is highly desirable. The position requires the physical and sensory abilities necessary to work in a Middle and Upper School teaching/learning environment, sitting at a desk and moving around the classroom and common areas inside and outside of the school and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs.
Employee must have a valid Georgia driver’s license or the ability to obtain a valid Georgia driver's license
