The school was founded in 1957 and currently enrolls approximately 900 students. Walker seeks a highly skilled, dedicated, experienced individual for a full-time Primary School Program Coordinator position starting July 1, 2018. The Primary School Program Coordinator reports directly to the Primary School Head (Head). His/her primary role is to provide administrative support to the Primary School Head , track all Bright from the Start documents including new hire trainings and annual professional development certificates, and coordinate busing information, events, programs, and trainings for the Primary School Division.
Salary is dependent on experience and is commensurate with other area independent schools.
Previous experience as an assistant director or other administrator in a preschool or child care setting preferred. Experience with child care licensing regulations or, specifically, Bright from the Start regulations a plus. Must have a bachelor’s degree and be very comfortable utilizing technology.
