The Philadelphia School seeks to hire a flexible, collaborative educator with a deep interest in progressive education and a constructivist approach to teaching and learning mathematics. The successful candidate will work closely with middle school colleagues and families to teach and support all children. Responsibilities include designing and implementing curriculum, advising students, and collaborating across disciplines and grade levels.

Our creative program demands that the candidate have interest in integrating curriculum. Experiences in environmental and outdoor education are a plus. In addition, we are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills and interests or experience in Growth Mindset and Responsive Classroom/Developmental Design practices.
Years of experience:
3-5 years of teaching in the late elementary grades and/or middle school is preferred.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education, with a master’s degree preferred.
