Presbyterian School, located in the heart of the Museum District in Houston Texas, is seeking a dynamic, experienced professional to create, market and oversee After-School Programming, Summer Programming and Campus Partnerships. After-School and Summer Programming provide academic, artistic, athletic and off-campus activities for students aged 3 - 13.
The Director of After-School Programs is a multi-faceted position which requires abilities from calming a 3 year-old to establishing complex schedules; creating compelling offerings to balancing spreadsheets; motivating staff to coordinating community vendors. The ability to communicate clearly is essential and positive problem solving skills are a must.
A qualified candidate will have proven experience in designing, developing and managing dynamic programs. A history of success in establishing effective partnerships with diverse constituencies is required. A successful candidate will exhibit strong character and will commit to supporting the mission, programs and policies of Presbyterian School.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience designing, developing and managing exciting programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work as a leader and as part of a team
Positive, solution-focused approach to problems
Deep understanding of and appreciation for the 3-13 year old child
Warm sense of humor
