Wilmington Montessori School is actively searching for a strong Upper Elementary (4th - 6th grade) teacher for the 2018-19 school year.

The Upper Elementary teacher at WMS is responsible for planning and implementing integrated instruction for students to address their cognitive, social, emotional and physical needs within a multiage classroom setting. He/she works collaboratively within a team of teachers in the classroom, as well as with enrichment teachers and other colleagues throughout the school. He/she will create a classroom community built on respect for and between all students, and establish a positive relationship with students, families, and staff. Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in education, and Montessori certification or the willingness to obtain Montessori training.
