PHYSICS and AP PHYSICS TEACHER Oldfields School, an all-girls international boarding and day school, grades 8-12, is seeking a full-time, experienced, AP Physics teacher to begin in August 2018. The ideal candidate will be energetic and engaging, with a willingness to inspire and support all kinds of learners.
Duties include: • Teaching three Physics classes--Physics, AP Physics I, AP Physics II • One-two other high school level science or math classes. Interest in STEM is a plus. • Coaching or other extracurricular activity. • Advising two-four students. • Faculty who receive free residential housing and board are required to do dorm supervision, periodic weekend duty, and other duties pertinent to boarding school needs. • Faculty who live off campus are required to do monthly weekend duty. The ideal candidate will be energetic and engaging, with a willingness to inspire and support all kinds of learners. Minimum requirements: • B.A. or M.A. in Physics or other closely related field. • Three or more years full-time teaching experience including AP Physics I and II and other secondary school science classes. • An interest in participating in the athletic, extracurricular and residential life of the school.
