Full-time position in the Department of Science at Sage Ridge School, teaching Biology (Honors and College Preparatory), AP Biology, and an elective.
Candidates must be prepared to teach two sections of Biology (Honors and College Preparatory), AP Biology, and an elective. A full time teaching position also includes other duties in the community, such as serving as an advisor to approximately 8-10 students, supervising an outdoor education trip, supervising a student-run club, or other duties assigned by the Divisional Director.
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or the equivalent coursework.
Minimum of three years high school biology teaching experience.
Three letters of reference.
Coursework in education topics.
Use of researched-based teaching and learning techniques.
Experience teaching in an independent school setting.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
