Sage Ridge School is currently searching for a Music Director who has a background in developing music programs for independent schools. This person will develop, write, and deliver the music/instrumental curriculum for the school. The Music Director will teach 3-5 sections of instrumental music in various grades 4-12, will create and teach the extra-curricular instruments program (before and/or after school), and will work closely with the theatre and music teachers to support the school's spring musical. The Music Director will host two music concerts per year and will support the instrumental music for other school events.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years teaching experience in independent schools. An advanced degree is desirable but not required.
