The primary duties include teaching four or five sections of Upper School Latin (Latin I through AP), co-sponsoring JCL, and mentoring students as an advisor. We seek an individual who can construct engaging classroom activities and develop curriculum for advanced courses. Ecce Romani is used in lower levels, with a shift to Cicero, Caesar, Virgil, and other Roman authors in the upper levels.
Prior experience working with secondary school students and an advanced degree is preferred. The school provides a generous benefits package with competitive salaries based on education and experience.
This full-time teaching position also includes other duties such as: advisory, a week-long outdoor education camping trip, clubs, campus supervision, teaching a 2-week mini-enrichment class, and/ or other duties assigned by the Division Director or Head of School.
