Seven Arrows seeks a dynamic 4th grade Lead Teacher to start in August 2018. The Lead Teacher is responsible for supporting all facets of learning along with demonstrating a commitment to our school community and mission. Members of the upper elementary school are responsible for planning and delivering instruction that is attentive to individual students’ intellectual, social, and emotional growth. The Lead Teacher is supported by an Associate Teacher.
Plan and teach language arts, math and history curriculum
Apply a range of strategies to successfully manage a strength-based classroom
Differentiate instruction in alignment with our approach to personalized learning
Assist students in developing self-discipline and a sense of responsibility
Perform ongoing student assessment, write progress reports, and hold parent conferences
Work with grade level team on curriculum development and school initiatives, (e.g. UbD curriculum design, Design Thinking, and Makerspace integration)
Communicate with parents and professional colleagues on a regular basis
Integrate technology into the teaching-learning process
Participate in supervisory responsibilities as assigned
Attend weekly faculty meetings and participate actively in curricular discussions in an ongoing exchange of information, professional development and support with a closely-knit staff
Help supervise children during transitions and some specialty classes
Attend school related evening events and environmental programs

Bachelor's degree in education is required.
Minimum of 2 years working as an Associate Teacher or Lead Teacher
