BB&N is seeking an English teacher for the Middle School, grades 7 & 8, to fulfill a one-year leave. The candidate hired will teach three classes and work in our co-curricular/Advisory program, advise students and support student programs.
The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in English or a related field, and a masters' degree in English, education or a similar field. Preference will be given to teachers with 3-5 years teaching experience. The English curriculum emphasizes the development of key reading, writing and thinking skills leading to analysis of literature, writing of developed essays and stories.
