Friends Select School seeks a full-time Middle School Science teacher for the 2018-2019 school year to teach 5th grade Science of the City, a physical science course that uses the city as its lens, and 8th grade Earth Science (with Physics and Chemistry incorporated), and to serve as an advisor to a small group of students. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching science in an independent middle school, an ability to lead projects and develop laboratory activities, enjoy working collaboratively, and a desire to connect with all students, faculty, and parents.
