About Crossroads Crossroads College Preparatory School is an independent secondary school in the City of St. Louis currently serving 227 students in 7th-12th grades. Our students are diverse, arriving to us from 43 zip codes in the region, with just over half benefitting from our robust scholarship program.
Key Duties and Responsibilities All duties and responsibilities must be designed and implemented in the context of our mission. Admissions and Reenrollment
Establish and maintain a process to support recruitment and retention of mission-aligned students and families, which includes systematic and efficient handling of applications and communication with candidates and their families; interviews with candidates and their parents; arrangements for admissions testing; securing of necessary student credentials; and communicating final decisions to the appropriate individuals.
Communicate effectively with students and families from a variety of social, cultural, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds.
Serve as a member of the Financial Aid Committee to develop and implement mission-driven financial aid philosophy, policies, and procedures, and award need-based financial aid.
Continually refine the admissions program by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from Crossroads and the broader independent school community.
Serve as the primary point of contact for The Cambridge Institute, Crossroads’s partner in managing the admission and enrollment of international students.
Manage the reenrollment process for returning families.
Meet budgeted net tuition and enrollment goals.
Position Crossroads within the broader educational community to enhance recruitment, retention, revenue generation, and constituent relations.
In partnership with the Advancement Team, develop and maintain a strategic marketing plan that differentiates the school’s unique brand.
Lead and manage all aspects of internal and external marketing for the admissions program.
Events and Recruiting
Develop and manage all recruiting events
Coordinate with local elementary schools to schedule informational visits
Lead Parent Ambassadors, Crossroads’s Parent Association
Bachelor’s degree required
Independent school and admission experience preferred
Superior oral and written communications skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively on a team and manage individual workload
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with school database systems
Ability to lead and manage toward multiple goals
Ability to be flexible and relationship-oriented while maintaining appropriate boundaries
