Mid-Pacific seeks a High School Grade Dean, for the 2018-2019 school year. Attends to both individual and class-wide student social/emotional well-being through programming, individual counseling, and coordinated support through school resources. Supports behavioral standards and consequences. Consults and works collaboratively with the Assistant Principals, Principals, faculty and staff to meet the needs of students. Mid-Pacific is an independent, co-educational, college-preparatory day school serving students in grades Pre-K - 12.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, within any of the behavioral sciences or human services, such as counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, human development or related disciplines, and two years of experience working with adolescents in schools or related settings and an understanding of developmental issues relating to adolescents is required. A master's degree in these disciplines and/or more extensive experience is desirable.
