Lincoln School, founded in 1884, is an independent K-12 Quaker girls’ school in Providence, Rhode Island. We are currently seeking a music teacher to join the Performing Arts faculty.
Qualified candidates will have experience and an enthusiasm for working with both Middle and Upper school age students. Responsibilities will include serving as choral director for our Middle and Upper Schools, teaching Middle School general music classes, working with our rock/jazz bands and chamber ensemble, overseeing student participation in All-State and other RIMEA events, and serving as the Musical Director for our Winter Musical Production.
Qualities of a top candidate would include a sense of humor, enthusiasm to collaborate with colleagues, commitment to an all-girls environment, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a continuing interest in professional growth.
Contributions to school life beyond the classroom are expected, as is the ability to embrace and forward the Quaker mission of Lincoln School.
