Montessori Hale O Keiki is seeking an experienced Elementary I Lead Teacher (6-9) for its Lower Elementary Classroom for the 2018-2019 School Year.
Major areas of responsibility include:
Understanding and promoting the school’s vision, mission, and goals
Maintaining the integrity and scope of the Montessori method in accordance with American Montessori Society
Preparing the Montessori classroom environment to meet individual student needs and interests
Meeting regularly with students to work with them in assessing their own success and facilitating an individual path of progress
Maintaining student records, reports, evaluations, inventories and tests
Continuing professional growth and development through conferences and C.E.U. training courses

Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Education)
Elementary I credential from an AMS affiliated or NCME program and/or MACTE accredited program.
Three years of experience or more as a Montessori Lead Teacher preferred.
