Friends School Haverford is searching for a Learning Specialist to lead our Learning Resource Team. Our learning specialist provides academic support for students (push in and pull out), supervises student support coaches, and collaborates with faculty and staff on matters pertaining to the differentiation of instruction. Formulating plans for remediation and enrichment, and communicating with families to include them in the support plan process, are also responsibilities of the learning specialist. Experience conducting student assessments, classroom observations, and family meetings (which may include tutors, psychologists, or therapists) is preferred. Reading and interpreting psychoeducational testing, editing student progress reports, and providing administrative support for standardized testing are part of this job.
