Lansdowne Friends School and Friends School Haverford jointly seek a full-time Spanish teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. Candidates should possess experience with elementary and middle school Spanish curricula. Native or near-native proficiency in spoken and written Spanish is preferred. Applicants should understand the developmental needs of children, have strong classroom management skills, be invested in ongoing professional growth, possess a commitment to promoting a diverse community, and be willing to work collaboratively with colleagues. Familiarity with Responsive Classroom is a plus. Candidates must support the Quaker philosophy of our schools. State and federal clearances are required.
