Middle School Mathematics Teacher and Math Coordinator
Friends School Haverford seeks a dynamic, creative, thoughtful, well-organized, communicative, and collegial middle school mathematics teacher and math coordinator. Candidates with experience teaching algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and even pre-calculus are preferred. Our math coordinator supports the differentiation of math instruction grades 1 to 8and has the opportunity to work with students, teachers, and families to share their love of numbers and mathematics.
Friends School Haverford is a small, constructivist, Quaker school, whose curriculum boasts a rich outdoor education curriculum and a program that derives great benefit from the use of the tools of technology. For interested candidates there are opportunities to teach units of study in coding and robotics.
