Kents Hill School is transitioning to a STEM/STEAM department valuing skill development, a hands-on approach to teaching, innovative practice, and positive student-teacher relationships. With that, we would like to welcome an experienced teacher of Mathematics to join our team. We are looking for applicants with a strong academic background, exemplary pedagogy and teaching skills, the ability to teach advanced courses in math, e.g., AP BC Calculus, AP AB Calculus, AP Statistics and ideally experience teaching in an independent academic setting. A Bachelor’s degree is required and a Master’s degree with an appropriate focus is preferred.
Other responsibilities include:
Coaching and/or leading extra-curricular activities;
Weekend team responsibilities;
Residential/dormitory duties (if you are a residential faculty member);
Must have a valid driver’s license.
